Mainely an adventure... Day 2

Sorry for my delay!

Today started out back in Cape Elizabeth at the head light... Absolutely stunning. The quaint little park had been inhabited by an RV right next to the water, which I'm sure was not authorized and they beat it shortly after we arrived around 8. It was quite the campground for them!

This lighthouse was so stoic and the setting so dramatic, I just fell in love with the head light at Cape Elizabeth. The town is equally as quaint!

We found a great breakfast @ Sinful Kitchen... This crab avocado benedict with a little cholula was a great start to the day.

We made our way north and went to the cute little restaurant of 5 Islands Lobster Co in Georgetown and had some superb soft shell lobsters with our Maine brewed sodas. Could you imagine a more perfect place to enjoy drenching sweet lobster into butter? I think not.

And who could resist a chance to stop by LL Bean's headquarters in Freeport and pose with a boot? We explored the shopping district in Freeport that has developed around the multiple LL Bean shops (flagship store, hiking/fishing, home, and bike/boat/ski) and of course found a few things we just had to take home.

As if we hadn't eaten enough today, we stopped by a little French restaurant in Lincolnville that had an amazing view of the water and equally amazing scallops, onion soup and steak. Then we ended our day finally arriving at our wonderful host's house in Ellsworth. Long and delightful day!
